My Hobbies

Reading

I like reading mostly nonfiction books and magazines.
Nonfiction: WWII at Sea and The Improbability Principle
Magazines: Backpacker and Popular Mechanics
Fiction: I rarely read it, but the Warriors series holds a special place in my memory.

Writing

I like to write, even though I am not too good at it. I dislike reading fiction, but I do like trying to write it.

Music

I have strange tastes in music. My current favorite genres are Pagan Folk Music, Gothic/Gothic Symphonic Metal, Irish Metal, Swing, and a couple other things. And yes, Gothic Symphonic Metal is a thing.
Some good bands that I like are Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Faun, Skald, Nightwish, the Dropkick Murphys, and The HU.

Talking and Learning

Most people don't see me as talkative, but I do enjoy talking to people. Everyone has interesting stories to tell, and I want to hear about them. It is part of the "art of sondering" which I just made up. Sonder describes the feeling of realization that every person that you past has their own unique life and thoughts. Therefore, the art of sondering is realizing that everyone has a unique life and trying to learn about them.

Cooking

I am a pretty good cook, and that does include baking. My current favorite dish is Adjaruli Khachapuri.

Video Games

I like video games, just like almost every other teenager. These are my favorite games right now:
Viva Pinata
Terraria
Factorio

All of these games are about building and resource management, which is a lot of fun.

Programming

I like trying to program things. I am not very good at it yet.
